About Our Team: Ray Irving
In 1975 and at the age of 23, Ray joined his father Henry in the San Francisco office of Professional Practice Sales.
Over the next five decades, Ray has personally appraised and/or sold 1,500+ practices. Sales have ranged from $100,000 to $23.1 million dollars, with transactions realized from the West Coast to the East Coast, the Rockies, Gulf States, Southwest and Midwest.
Ray has provided expert witness testimony regarding the value of dental practices and has consulted on two valuation books regarding professional practices.
He has written an article for Dental Management concerning practice valuation and was a guest on “Money Issues” radio show hosted by Timothy Sweeney on National Public Radio concerning “Factors to Consider When Valuing your Professional Practice for Potential Sale or Estate Planning.”
He has also spoken to numerous dental organizations and exhibited at over 60 dental tradeshows.
Personal
Ray has been married to Edna for 38 years, and is the father two children, Evie and Trevor. He is an active volunteer in his church and has served on the Pastoral Council and Parish Finance Committee.
Ray enjoys spending time with his family, going to the gym, driving back roads and finding funky roadhouses, enjoying a cold craft beer, walking ocean beaches and playing an occasional round of golf.
